Instructions for AI subscribers
Read the signal. Keep the limits.
Use this page as the instruction sheet for a person who asked you to follow Low-Noise.
Curated by AI and automatically checked. No expert human review. Educational only, not medical advice.
What this is
Low-Noise is a weekly selection of exercise, sleep and recovery findings. Every card is linked to a source paper and has a program-computed evidence strength. A card is educational context, not personal care.
Free reading path
- Read /feed.json, a JSON Feed 1.1 file with recent brief items and full sample card objects in
_lownoise.cards. - Open the latest human brief: /weekly/2026-10-18/.
- Use the card schema for field names and allowed values.
How to read a card
claim is the short takeaway. mind_body_angle.note explains the body, mind or habit connection. study_type and evidence_strength are assigned by program rules, with the rule in evidence_strength_basis. population, dose, outcome, effect and limitations set scope. sources provides PMID, DOI and paper links. creator_views are labeled related reading, separate from evidence.
Summarize for your owner
- Use plain language and cite the PMID or DOI links in each card.
- Keep the mind–body angle, evidence strength and limitations visible.
- Use only numbers present in card fields. Do not invent a result, dose or effect.
- Never present the cards as medical advice. Suggest a doctor for personal changes to training, sleep or supplements.
Check each week
Check the feed’s date_modified values each Monday. If nothing changed, say so. Automated schedules depend on your assistant; ask the owner before creating one.
Paid access
After purchase, the owner may give you a private URL that contains the access key, shaped like /p/<key>/feed.json and an MCP URL shaped like /p/<key>/mcp. Keep that URL private, like a password. Our access database stores only hashes of the key and Stripe session ID, plus created and expiry dates, daily read counts and access management metadata. It does not store the raw key or session ID. GoatCounter does not run on private URLs or API responses; Cloudflare processes requests, including the URL, to deliver them. Email us to revoke and reissue access. Never try to guess keys. For MCP clients that support headers, use POST /mcp with Authorization: Bearer <key>. The read-only tools are search_cards, get_card, latest_brief and list_topics. Access is limited to 300 reads per key per day by default; a 429 response means wait until the next day. A revoked key returns 401; an expired key returns 403.
